Dorsiflex the foot to stabilize the ankle and fix the foot into the table with the stabilizing hand. Place the index finger of the stabilizing hand under either the talus, navicula or cuneiform according to which joint is being mobilized. Apply a buckling force toward the table with the thrusting hand and a combination of plantarflexion, eversion and abduction to focus at the target joint.
Tips: Several priming movements are often necessary to produce the optimum potential for the thrust.
