For seed, nut, and whole grain lovers, Phillips et al. analyzed the phytosterols in wheat germ, some such phytosterols medicinally important (X16302759). Delta-5-avenasterol, 161 ppm; delta-7-avenasterol, 133 ppm; campestanol, 127 ppm; campesterol, 787 ppm; phytosterols, 4130 ppm; poriferasta-7,25-dienol, 135 ppm; sitosta-nol, 69 ppm; beta-sitosterol, 2286 ppm; stigmasterol, 37 ppm; and delta-7-stigmastenol, 116 ppm (X16302759).
