^ Male factor infertility: Couples with male factor infertility have the best odds of having a baby with IVF technology and in 2006 had a live birth rate of almost 22 per cent per started stimulated cycle and almost 17 per cent per frozen embryo transfer.

^ Female factor infertility: Couples with female factor infertility have slightly lower odds of having a baby with IVF technology and in 2006 had a live birth rate of just over 17 per cent per started stimulated cycle and just over 14 per cent per frozen embryo transfer.
