Staying sane

With so much at stake, you inevitably feel preoccupied and at the point of going crazy during this agonising two-week wait. Feeling tense and stressed during this time is normal and you have to manage as best you can. How you do this depends on who you are and what works for you. Some women prefer to keep busy with work or other demands, while others function better if they're free of outside pressures.

Some (perhaps even most) women feel better if they can talk to someone about the things that weigh on their mind, whereas men often feel better if they don't talk about them. If you find that you and your partner have different ways of getting through the angst of the two-week wait, try to find ways to handle the situation that work for each of you. For instance, your sister, mum, friend or the clinic counsellor may be able to act as a source of support for you if you and your partner have difficulty tackling this trying time together.

Pregnancy Diet Plan

The first trimester is very important for the mother and the baby. For most women it is common to find out about their pregnancy after they have missed their menstrual cycle. Since, not all women note their menstrual cycle and dates of intercourse, it may cause slight confusion about the exact date of conception. That is why most women find out that they are pregnant only after one month of pregnancy.
