Fractures of the Tibia and Fibula

These fractures are caused by direct force on the bones, such that which occurs in landing from a high fall; by violent twisting when the foot is fixed; or by a rotational force on the bones, such as a tackle in football.

The symptoms include extreme pain, inability to move the leg or bear weight on the bones, swelling, and tenderness. Deformity may be observable.

Medical attention and emergency treatment should be obtained without delay. Dry needling acupuncture can be applied to the inflamed, tender, swollen, and painful area after emergency treatment and after surgery. In addition, the treatment is used to balance the entire musculoskeletal system. Two treatment sessions per week should be provided.
