To have optimal treatment, children should receive radiation therapy only at major medical centers with experience in treating children with cancer. Do not go to a local radiation center or the radiation department in your community hospital. All treatments should be supervised by physicians who are board-certified or equally experienced in pediatric radiation oncology. State-of-the-art equipment, expert personnel, and vast experience with pediatric cancers are what you should look for in choosing a center.

Although nobody gets a parenting manual or bible in the delivery room, it is our duty as parents to try to make our kids as well rounded, happy and confident as possible. It is a lot easier to bring up great kids than it is to try and fix problems caused by bad parenting, when our kids have become adults.
