This marinade is particularly well-suited for enhancing the flavor of very firm tofu. ^^

1 rounded teaspoon chicken-flavor vegetarian broth powder 1V2 cups boiling water V3 cup tamari

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 1 teaspoon granulated garlic V2 teaspoon dried thyme V2 teaspoon dried oregano

Makes 2 Cups

Combine broth powder and boiling water. Add tamari, vinegar, garlic, thyme, and oregano. Mix thoroughly, using a small wire whisk or fork. Marinate ingredients of your choice for up to 24 hours, covered, in the refrigerator. Turn ingredients at least once during the marinating process.

1 cup boiling water 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

1 tablespoon liquid Fruitsource V2 teaspoon dried basil se this lively marinade to enhance seitan (chicken-flavor or traditional), very Arm tofu, or steamed tempeh.

Combine broth powder and boiling water. Add Fruitsource, tamari, garlic, vinegar, and basil, stirring after each addition. Marinate ingredients of choice for at least 1 hour, covered, in the refrigerator. Turn ingredients at least once during the marinating process.
